Rob Swainston merges traditional printmaking processes such as lithography, woodcut, and silkscreen, with digital photography, sculpture, painting, drawing and video. Constantly rebuilding and reassembling his work while adding new components and destroying old ones, he sees his artistic process as an analogy for how the social world is constructed. Swainston’s work has been recently shown at Socrates Sculpture Park, CANADA Gallery, David Krut Projects, BravinLee Programs, and Vox Populi, among others.
